Day 107 - USA Tour - Klamath Falls, OR

Overnight: Klamath Falls, OR
Play Day

This morning is very bitter-sweet. We have had such a great time with DaveH and Dot, that we can't bear to think of this as our last day together. We have all gotten along so very well and truly enjoyed being together.

If it weren't for the snow in Oregon, and LD & Tina living in Georgia, I think we'd pack up and move here.

We decided to go out for breakfast this morning. After which Dot and I did some shopping while the guys sat in the car. I think we took too long, as their hasty comment when we returned was that they wanted to go back to the house and get their own car.

The guys were going to load up some of the heirloom items we were given yesterday and then go to the RV center to check out an auto-switchover for the gas tanks (when one runs out of propane, the other automatically starts).

Dot and I took Dave's car and did the rest of our shopping. When we got home, the guys were already done. DaveH had shown Dave that we already had the auto-switchover, it just was very different from one we had on another RV. So, we are good to go now. No more running out of propane on those cold mornings!

We quickly got back to playing Canasta for the rest of the day.

We ate yummy leftover burritos for dinner, and then got right back to card playing. Dot just didn't want us to go home, so we stayed way too late. But, we didn't want to go home either. It's so hard to say goodbye because we don't know when we'd ever get back to Oregon. When we get settled, we hope they'll come to Georgia for a visit!

We said our goodbye's and hugged as long as we could. But, finally we had to part company. We shall never forget the wonderful time we had with the Hicks. And, I know we will never have that much fun with Canasta again!
