Notes:
- I found out that I am supposed to press "Reset" on the MPG computer on Dave's car each time he fills up for gas. So, some of my previous accounts of our MPG may be incorrect. But, I did notice that while driving around Chicago without the trailer, we were getting about 17 MPG.
- We have been without the Internet on and off for 2 days (I'm writing this on Friday, even though the events are about yesterday). Hence, the lag in getting these entries posted. The campground has had the technician out all day. I'm not sure if we'll lose it again during the weekend.

Today we were up and ready to go, but had bad storms again this morning. So, we had to wait for them to pass before we could move out.

We headed for Pleasant Prairie, WI, to go to the Jelly Belly factory. It was something I had been looking forward to visiting. We took back roads to get there and it was rather nice to enjoy the countryside. We noticed that the landscape was becoming more hilly (yea, I know that’s not proper English—but that’s what it was!). We commented on just how any farms there are here in the Midwest. Just farm after farm and silo after silo.

We arrived at Jelly Belly Lane at 11:30 AM and hopped on board the tour train. Don't you just love those self-portraits!!

It was a pretty cute tour, but not quite the manufacturing tour I had expected. The tour was various stations throughout the warehouse that had video presentations. You just rode the train around the perimeter of the warehouse. The tour guide was entertaining. And, when we were done, we got our free Jelly Belly packet. Of course, I purchased a few as well!

From there, we headed north along the border of Lake Michigan (although we couldn't see it from the freeway). We stopped at a place called the Ghost Town Tavern for lunch. They didn’t have the cooking grill on at 2 PM when we arrived as they don't serve lunch Monday through Thursday. The chef didn’t arrive until 2:15, but they insisted we stay. It was very smokey, so that wasn’t too pleasant. But, the food was really good. So, all in all, it was a good lunch. We never could figure out why it was called Ghost Town.

By this time, we had decided not to stop in Milwaukee. We wanted to get to Green Bay and be settled (sort of) for a week. We will be leaving the RV at the campground for four nights (starting 6/9) while we go to stay at the Radisson in Green Bay for the reunion.

We arrived at 5 PM and were glad to be here. The first site they sent us to was really too small. We are now on a corner site, so we are not as crowded as we might otherwise be. They do not have sewer hookups here, they, instead have a truck that comes around to dump you twice a week, so guess I’ll have to figure out what that’s all about tomorrow. I forgot to get the details before the office closed tonight. Always a new experience!

We are having trouble getting on to the WiFi and think the issues will have to wait until tomorrow because we both have a good signal, but neither of us can access the Internet. They say we are on a satellite system, so it might go out now and then. Always something! We love that technology has given us WiFi, but, oh, when it doesn’t work… @!*@!!

We’ll be here for a week and the first few days will be just relaxing and doing a little sightseeing close to the campground. That is, if the rain will ever stop. No wonder it’s so green up here. We haven’t had much clear sky since we arrived in Springfield, IL.
