Overnight: Ennis, MT
R&R Day
A few tidbits to start your reading:
Ennis is the fly fishing capital of the nation. And, I'd believe it from all the fishermen camped here. We also saw a lot of folks in small aluminum boats floating down the river. Some of those die-hard fisherman in camp have one-man boats that have inflatable pontoons with a seat in the middle. Quite unique.
Here's a couple of sculptures in town. The fisherman is quite large, and unfortunately I didn't capture the entire statue. If you look closely, you can see the fishing line, and at the other end (out of the picture) there is a fish.
The multi-colored fish sculpture is at the entrance to the campground. It really is beautiful (I've included a close-up so you can see the metal in detail).
Today I was doing better, but didn't feel like doing much of anything but resting up and doing one more load of laundry.
We didn't go out for breakfast or lunch or dinner. We ate leftovers all day.
I did one more load of laundry to get the towels done. So, we are completely good to go for another week.
Dave and I stayed at the club house reading and doing jigsaw puzzles while the laundry "cooked." Doing the puzzles was very relaxing, and Dave finally couldn't help himself and joined in. I think we got about half of the 500 pieces done before we left.
We will take off for Missoula in the morning. Dave's been getting his ancestor research papers in order. I hope he has good luck and finds a lot of information. He can't find much information beyond his great-grandparents. I hope he can find some information about the great-greats.
Be blessed!
