Overnight: Ennis, MT
Laundry Day
Today we went in to town to eat breakfast. We had a delicious new food: Indian bread. It was almost like a deep-fried lump of donut, but not as sweet. Yum. But then any sweet deep fried is a yum.
After breakfast, we spent quite a bit of time just window shopping in town. The shops are really unique. Dave and I spent about 1.5 hours in one of the shops. It had such unique gift items and books. Dave purchased a book on Montana history that had mention of Frenchtown--the town where his great-grandparents settled. We will go to Frenchtown in a few days.
We were way behind on our laundry, so we took our reading materials and set off for the laundry room and game room to spend a few hours. Dave did some history reading and I found a puzzle to keep me busy between running back and forth to the laundry area.
I had a sore throat all day and by late afternoon, I wasn't feeling well at all. But, we got the laundry done!
We headed out for dinner to Ennis again. We both had chicken-fried steak. It was really good and very tender.
Back to the RV to spend the evening. This is a really spacious campground, but no trees (they are young) in this new campground. The WIFI works great, but the TV only gets 2 channels. One is watchable and the other is mostly fuzz. I busied myself with reading some more in a Lewis & Clark book that I purchased a few days ago.
A storm is blowing in so we battened down the hatches. Check out these Montana clouds (that's not our trailer in the picture) and the rainbow (faint in the second picture).
We both hit the hay early as we were feelin' puny. Tomorrow we'll take a drive to Virginia City to check it out. Nighty Night!
Sorry
