Day 53 - USA Tour - Rapid City, SD

Overnight: Rapid City, SD
Sightseeing Day:
- Black Hills Gold Factory
- Sioux Pottery Factory

After a breakfast at Perkins, which took forever, we drove to the Mt. Rushmore Black Hills Gold factory for a tour. I don't have any pictures to share because we couldn't take any. It was an informative tour and well worth the stop. Dave kept trying to get some of those gold slivers, which fell to the floor, to stick in his socks.

Dave bought me a couple of pieces of jewelry as my main souvenir for this trip. You know me and how I love jewelry.

Our next stop was the Sioux Pottery factory. We was a bit disappointed in this tour as they just have a back room with about 4 workers painting the pottery.

I fixed hamburgers for dinner and we watched TV for the evening. This was an uneventful day, but we planned it that way as tomorrow will be a busy day. Adios and hasta lavista.
