Today we didn't rush off as we didn't have far to travel from Belvidere to Wall, SD.

I know you have been wondering how MiniMoose is getting along. Well, to tell you the truth, she was getting tired of sitting in the swing that I had crocheted for her. So, Dave consented that she could ride up front in the window for a better view. After I got her all settled in, the ride for everyone went smoother.

The terrain ranged from farm land to gentle rolling hills. Then as we got closer to Wall, we could see the Badland Hills far in the distance. We stopped at a roadside overlook. Dave took a walk and found some blooming cactus. He brought one of the beautiful yellow flowers to me.

We arrived at the campground at 11 AM. We had been told and read that this campground--well, both in the town of Wall--were really old. But, this campground is the only one that had WiFi, so there was no "choice" as to which we'd choose.

We had some problems with being able to send email messages again. So, I spent an hour or so on the phone with our ISP. Of course, in their opinion (from across the Indian Ocean) that it's got to be something other than Windstream's service. Because we have had the same problem at two different campground, Dave and I use different software to send/receive email (Outlook and Windows Mail), and we have different access codes and computers, it must be one of those issues rather than the ONE common factor we use--Windstream ISP. So, we are resigned to use their Web mail, which is a royal pain.

After a little nap, we ventured over to Wall Drugs. It's mostly a collection of souvenir shops with a few stores like Western boots and camping gear thrown in. We walked around for about 45 minutes and then got a butterscotch ice cream.

We came back to the RV where I made turkey fillets, mashed potatoes, and broccoli/cauliflower mix for dinner. Dave sat outside at the picnic table and watched for more birds, while I did bills--ick.
